Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Follow directions given by mentor technicians to enhance abilities through experience, coaching and cooperates and assists technicians in the process of repairing damaged vehicles.
Interact respectfully and professionally with mentors, customers and body shop team members.
Repairs or replaces all body panels per repair orders and abiding the manufacture recommendations, guidelines, procedures or repair manuals.
Maintain a safe and clean working area, wearing all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the manufacturer and complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials.
Notifies mentor technicians, fellow employees and management of any difficulties or issues that may prevent a quality or safe repair from being performed or that may cause a change in the estimated completion promised dates.
Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as chemicals, adhesives, and hazardous waste disposal, etc.
Read and interpret documents such as repair orders, manufacture repair procedures or manuals, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance instructions Be able to solve practical problems in the sheet metal correction, welding, bonding, and squaring and aligning in difficult situations.
Operates all personal and shop tools and equipment in a safe manner and maintains in the proper state of use.
Mirror matches parts with damaged parts upon arrival to insure all correct items have been received.
Read the on-vehicle notes or work orders and fulfill any additional requested items.
Other duties may be assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
