This individual will work up to 30 hours per week.
Will operate a forklift.
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming HVAC products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders or delivery manifests.
Inspect products for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Organize and label received items, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records of HVAC products using computerized systems.
Perform regular inventory counts to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory replenishment to ensure product availability.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize warehouse management systems and equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) to move, load, and unload products safely.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient order processing and timely shipment.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from obstructions to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain proper storage conditions for HVAC products, adhering to industry standards.
Assist in periodic equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
Quality Control and Documentation:
Conduct regular quality control checks on HVAC products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of product movements, inspections, and inventory records.
Assist in implementing and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products, paperwork, and data entry.
Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems and basic office software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide exceptional customer service.
Must be able to work Mon-Fri.
